I’m interested in therapy services, do you accept insurance?

Yes! For people residing in Texas, we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (PPO plans) and United Healthcare/ Optum. For people residing in New York, we accept Aetna, Oscar Health, United Healthcare, and Oxford.

It’s always best to verify your benefits by checking online or calling customer service. You can ask if you have mental health coverage.

I don’t have insurance, can I still start therapy?

It’s not uncommon for folks to not have insurance, we recognize that accessibility to quality and affirming mental health care is vital! Our rates for a standard 45-minute individual session is $125, and $150 for a 60-minute session. For couples, a standard session lasts 60 minutes and is $150.

Our rates take into account therapist’s experience and training while also allowing them to have a livable wage and maintaining healthy client loads. This practice allows our therapists to be able to bring in their best selves and reduce burn out.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes!! Our therapists have select appointments that are offered at a reduced rate. The fees will range range from $35 to $100. If a therapist does not have open sliding scale appointments you may request to get on a waitlist until one opens up. Sliding scale agreements are revisited every 4 months.

What age groups do you see?

Our therapists see folks 14 years old and above. We are happy to provide you with referrals for therapists who see younger children!

Do you offer virtual therapy?

Yes, we do! At this time we only offer telehealth through a HIPAA compliant video platform.

Can I meet with a therapist before starting therapy?

Of course! For meaningful and psychologically safe work to occur, there needs to be a good therapeutic relationship! Additionally, we want to make sure that our therapists can provide the support you need and has experience with your particular stressors.
